This dress is made to order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for a standard size dress or between 3-6 weeks for a made to measure dress.
However, if you need a dress for an event sooner than this please get in touch and we'll let you know if it is do-able.

Due to the individuality of Custom Orders, it is not possible to return your dress for any reason, (especially sewing the dress to the customer's individual size, changing the length of the dress, changing the appearance of the dress, changing the appearance of dress elements. e.t.c) unless a significant construction fault is present. Please take your measurements carefully and check with us if you are unsure.
Cancellations of orders are available, however, a cancellation request MUST be placed within 24 hours of the original order date. After this time, materials are cut and labour assigned to the production of your order. Strictly no cancellations are available beyond 24 hours after the order date.

The birdie dress may be very simple, it's really well made and this beautiful 'Terra Cotta 'Floral Jubilee' Eyelet' fabric gives it so much charm and elegance!

I LOVE this dress and I LOVE Hearts & Found! This was my first purchase and I was absolutely blown away. I'll never shop in stores again! The fabric is high quality and you can tell the patterns were drafted by someone who knows how to flatter a figure.
I am between a size 2X and 3X. My bust is 44', waist is 37', hips are 48'. With standard sizing my waist is usually 1-2' above. I didn't want to pay a customization fee for each garment (which is my only complaint, as other sellers will adjust the waist by an inch for me for free) so I decided to just make it work. I've determined that if your dress is made of a cottony fabric like my Birdie dress was (Harvest Bloom) it will have some stretch and you could size down. With the flannel/linen however, it has very little stretch if any, so you should go for a custom size.

I cannot get enough of these dresses. I literally do not want to wear anything else!! The fabric on this one is lighter so it's really nice on those very hot days, especially with the lower back. As always, the quality can't be beat. This is my 6th dress, and I'm already planning my next one! I'm pretty sure it will be another Birdie, the cut is so flattering! Thank you!!
I received endless compliments on this dress when wearing it out all day! Most thought it was a vintage piece. Incredibly comfortable and I love how it looks with a custom half-circle skirt. Love this new cut!

Love love love. I love this style of dress and I've finally found one that is a comfortable fit for my body. For size reference I'm 5 feet tall, 42/34/44 about a 36-38DDD and no bra in this photo. Ordered an XXL regular knee length (I have very short legs). The Penelope dress is not too tight, not too loose, and it has pockets! Will surely order this dress in more prints in the future.
Well made dress with what feels like good quality material, though a few of the threads are coming out after one wear. Dress came quite quickly and customer service was helpful and patient as always.

I ordered the Birdie in Sage Green Dotted Swiss. It's lovely, a beautiful woodsy natural hue which is almost fairy-esque. The Birdie is a beautiful design and flattering cut. I'm a fan of the Penelope but appreciate being able to adjust the straps a bit more to have more length as my torso is quite long. One thing about tie straps is usually the tied bow is a visible 'lump' through light cardigans, but the Dotted Swiss is pretty light so it sits and lays fairly flat which is great! Size runs true to the size chart.
