Measure from the top of your shoulder (near the neck where a shoulder seam would start) with the tape measure going over the middle of one breast to your waist.

Measure from the shoulder, down to the bust-line, which is where your nipples will align.

Measure around the fullest part of your bust (taken while wearing your usual undergarments)

Measure around your torso immediately beneath your bust.

Measure at the smallest part of your waist which is usually 1 or 2 inches above your belly button. If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.

Measure around the fullest part of your hips/bottom.

Measure from your natural waist to where you feel comfortable having the skirt end.
