Washing:
Cotton thrives with a gentle touch. Use cool or warm water and a mild detergent. Skip harsh chemicals and fabric softeners (cotton softens naturally!).
Drying: Air drying is ideal, but tumble drying on low heat works too. To minimize wrinkles, remove the dress slightly damp and smooth it out.
Minimize Shrinkage:
Cotton can shrink slightly (expect up to 5% shrinkage), especially during the first wash. To minimize this, consider pre-washing in cold water.
Ironing:
Cotton can be ironed while slightly damp for easier wrinkle removal. Use a medium to high heat setting.

I absolutely love this dress! It came within less than a month. She sent the dress with a matching face mask that fits me perfectly. The fabric is soft and comfortable. Everything fits exactly how it said it would. The top half doesn't have much give but it didn't bother me because the skirt portion gives you plenty of freedom of movement.
I love this dress. It's comfortable, cool for the summer, and it feels really well made. The colour is exactly what I was hoping for. This was sort of a tester before buying more to make sure I got the sizing right. Even sizing up one size, this dress is still too tight so I'll need to move the buttons over to accommodate that. I have a 34” bust and 28” waist, and I ordered a Medium. In the future I plan to order a Large for a better fit. So please be aware that you might want to size up!
Beautiful work, quality fabric and quality construction. Seller included a cloth mask which was an extremely cute idea and so thoughtful. I did order the 3xl size thinking I would need the extra room in the bust, but I think with my future orders I will pay the extra amount for custom sizing, because this is just a little too big for me elsewhere and I will have to have it taken in in the future.

Lovely material, very well made with pockets zips, clasp, and buttons. I got mine made to measure and it fits wonderfully. I'm wearing a petticoat in this picture for more of a vintage feel.

Pardon the wrinkles. This pic was taken at the end of the day where I sat at a desk all day and was wearing a cardigan. Still, I wanted you to see how great this dress turned out. I ordered the Marlene dress in airforce blue with the sleeves shortened to 10 inches. It looks straight out of a 1961 catalog, yet a timeless classic that I can wear to work or out on the town. I love it.
The quality of all their garment are amazing. But this collar was like 5 inches too big for me, despite the rest of the dress fitting well. The large collar is very 60s, but this was just too much. I think the top of the bodice front needs to be gathered in a bit, and the collar needs to be MUCH smaller in order for it not to stand so far away from the neck. For this reason I woud not recommend this specific style, the pattern needs adjusting, I think their plus sizes need adjusting in general.

This review is long overdue but I've been rather busy. So… after discovering H&F, I immediately fell in love with all their dresses. Like seriously ALL their dresses. To the point that I bought a truckload. I'm broke but it's all worth it. H&F is legit the best. The fabric is PERFECTION. I love all the styles, the colors, just everything. I am definitely gonna have a whole closet with just H&F dresses. No regrets at all. The only con I had was since I bought too much dresses, there was a bit of issue with the shipping carrier (I had to pay a high custom fee) I contacted the shop owner and she compensated me. Thank you!
