Choose a fabric: Ruthie Skirt

The Ruthie skirt in Pink Champagne linen is fantastic - it's the right size (size L - around a size Australian 12 or a size US 8), it slims me down a little (it has plenty of volume, to where I doubt I'd need a petticoat to increase it's volume), and I've gotten many compliments from people around me for it.

I intend on buying more versions of the Ruthie skirt (in Sangria, Carolina Blue, Walnut/Caramel and Indigo Blue linen) in the future, when it is possible (I imagine it would fantastic with some knitwear and tights in winter); I heavily recommend on buying from here for beautiful and ethical fashion pieces.

Beautiful, flattering, well made. The linen is the right weight to wear any season. I'll layer it with heavier slips in the winter.

The linen is a bit heavier weight than I expected but not in a bad way! It feels like it'll be a hard wearing skirt I can wear for a long time. The color is also a little bit more into the green-khaki range than the photos may make it look so don't expect anything too dark!

Incredibly high quality, came with a matching mask, and swooshes about very satisfyingly! I don't need a petticoat for this - the gathers make the skirt feel very full. Pockets are incredible - I'm 5'3' and ordered the tall knee-length size (which is just above tea length for me), and the magificent deep pockets can hide my arms almost up to my elbows. I love this shop.

It was a size too large for me (my error), but the quality is so beautiful that I just went ahead and ordered two more skirts in other styles, but in the correct size. They have since arrived and I'm even happier with them than I expected! For this skirt, I will keep it, and just pair them with some suspenders. They're still ultra cute and such beautiful quality. It's a joy to receive packages from Hearts & Found.

I have ordered two other dresses that were perfect. However this dress was a HUGE miss. The trees are all diagonal and askew on the skirt. making the dress look wonky (evidently this it is because the war the skirt is made). ALSO I noticed the trees on the collar run different directions, mind you the collar is TWO seperate peices, so when sewing no care was taken in regards to the direction of the fabric. So if you want a directional fabric I would be careful.

My first custom order from HeartsandFound, and I'm so delighted! In my first order I chose three skirts in size xs. But as I wanted a dress this time I went for custom made since I'm usually in between sizes xs-s, and it's harder to get a perfect fit in both bust and waist. I was a bit afraid since measuring oneself is not as easy as it may seem. But I needn't be since the fit is perfect! Also, the print is exactly as pictured. As always, Marjorie contacted me after the purchase confirming the details of my order and telling me the approximate time it would take for my dresses to be made. I cannot wait for summer to be able to wear it!

I ordered this dress from Hearts and Found after seeing one a friend had received so I figured it would be nice, but this beauty went far beyond my expectations…it's just PERFECT! Made from the cotton blend I prefer which has 3% spandex, the bodice AND skirt are lined, and it has pockets too!

Marjorie was patient and prompt in answering all my many questions and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. This dress is comparable, if not better than those I have ordered from Pinup Girl Couture at twice the price!
